v-i-c-t-o-r-y!

i know it is only saturday evening, but i have already had one of the most relaxing and enjoyable weekends ever.  we woke up at 9 am and the pastor made a big breakfast that i made gabe get out of bed and walk over to enjoy.  we ate lots and had coffee and talked and laughed and had a fun morning. 

then, after hearing about all the festivities in carytown...i mean scarytown, i headed to walmart to make the little dog a costume for the contest.

as we walked to the competition, the pastor was majorly doubting our chances and then...

 

we won!

then we snuggled on the porch and admired our work.

life long project

i love everything about victorian family photographs.  i wonder if the conversation went like this, "we need to take a family photo." "alright, everyone out in the yard, grab and animal or possession" "ok ready no one smile....1.....2......3..."

ok so where is the life long project coming in?

here it is...

every year i want the stephen, myself, and franklin to take a picture like this.  then when we are old, every year our family will be captured in hopefully at least 50 of these pictures filled with lots of people that all started with just me the pastor and the little dog.  any photographer friends want to help?
